The Meaning of Star Trek
With the coming of the new Star Trek series Discovery this fall, the franchise proves that it can reach every generation with its optimism, diversity and faith in the future. Larry Nemecek, a national host and author expert on Star Trek, returns to talk about these and other positive aspects of Star Trek that keep its fan base growing after 50 years with no sign off letting up. He will also have slides, Q&A and a table for his books, archival interview CDs, and his PORTAL 47 monthly Trek deep-dive experience.
