Plant Based 101: Eating to Improve Your Health and Protect the Environment

Learn how you can make small changes to your diet that will benefit your health, protect the environment, and improve animal welfare while still enjoying foods you love.  We will share practical tips on how to incorporate more plant-based meals into your lifestyle and you will have the opportunity to sample delicious plant-based appetizers.  Presented by Kim Korona and Katie Johnson of VegMichigan. Kim Korona has a M.Ed. from Cambridge College in affiliation with the Institute for Humane Education and Katie Johnson holds a M.S. in Humane Leadership from Humane Society University.
