Blood on the Mitten In-Person
Michigan true crime author Tom Carr, author of the best-selling "Blood on the Mitten: Infamous Michigan Murders, 1700s to Present," will discuss some of Michigan's most notorious murders and other crimes, including one in Kalkaska where a woman was murdered in her home and DNA evidence was swept aside, leading to a wrongful conviction. The DNA was finally enters into a database 17 years after the murder, which led to the conviction of the real killer. After his presentation, of several fascinating stories from throughout the state's history, Carr will sell and sign his books.
