History of Motown In-Person
Susan Whitall will give a talk on the History of Motown, which is not just a musical story, but also delves into the unique socio-economic circumstances in Detroit that led to the rise of Motown, a record company that teenagers of all races embraced. Whitall is the author of "Women of Motown," and also covered Motown for several decades for the Detroit News.
