Behind the Seams: Star Wars and the Power of Costume
Melanie Parker will present a behind the seams look at Star Wars and the Power of Costume, an exhibition a the Detroit Institute of Arts that closely examines the creative process of costume design for iconic outfits featured in the first seven films of the Star Wars saga--from Queen Amidala's lavish gowns to Darth Vader's imposing black armor. Free raffle for tickets to the exhibition.
